The Northwest Amateur Radio Society (NARS) is sponsoring a Fox Hunt! The hunt will take place at Burroughs Park northeast of Tomball. All amateur radio operators are welcome.

The hunting will start at ~9 am. The foxes (there will be two) will be hidden in the wooded area along the hiking trails.

There is a nice pavilion at Burroughs that wasn't being used when I was there recently. It is located at GPS coordinates 30.13815, -95.57578. Basically, it is north and east of the fishing pond. If the pavilion happens to be busy, there are dozens of picnic tables in the area which should suffice. Just look for antennas and you should find us.

Note they have soccer and baseball at Burroughs, but these are all at the southern end of the park. If you can, use the more northern entrance to avoid the congestion.

We are planning a potluck lunch after the hunt. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND. Wouldn't want to run out of burgers 🙂
