Subject: [BVARC] W3FPG-11 Balloon Launched Today

Here's the track of the balloon that was lunched earlier this afternoon, as part of the Greater Houston Tailgate event that took place today.

https://aprs.fi/#!mt=roadmap&z=16&call=a%2FW3FGP-11&timerange=43200&tail=43200 for LIVE location tracking.

It has finally reached it's FLOAT altitude, a little over 38 thousand feet, and being picked up by stations in Louisiana at this time.

It's just about to lose it's sunlight for that day, so we'll have to see where it wakes up in the morning.

The wind forecasts at its current altitude, shows that it should continue heading for the Caribbean for the next day or two.

Many thanks to Chris-KG5BBF for getting the package into the air for us.
