I bought a baifeng uv 32 last week to test it out. I discovered that chirp wont program it. But if you go to baofengs main website they have their own programming software. It says you have to install a phone app and do it via bluetooth, but just ignore that.
Its not required.
<div>The baofeng software and the usb driver (c340 perhaps? I may be wrong) is all you need and you can program with the cable. </div>
<div>You will need to look thru the software menus though because there is a setting that defaults the language to chinese and after you load the freqs into the radio, the menus will be in chinese. Theres an option to switch it to english. </div>

</div>
<div>Hope this helps. </div>
<div>Oh and i didnt see a way to convert the chirp file to the beofeng file so you might have to retype it all up. Doesnt take too long to do. </div>
