<div dir="ltr"><div>Howdy, y&#39;all,</div><div><br></div><div>We had a great BVARC meeting last week. Nice ice cream social. Rick W5RH had a great slide show on antenna history and such. </div><div><br></div><div>I brought out my 1/4 wave ground plane, three 1/2 wave dipoles, a copper water pipe J pole, and a 450 Ohm roll up ladder line J pole. My &#39;big&#39; antenna is the three element Yagi with a 3/4 J driven element. </div><div><br></div><div>I have attached a doc and slide show on building a 1/4 wave ground plane. I would really appreciate anyone who may be able to build from these publications. I am happy for any comments or constructive criticism! </div><div><br></div><div>My antenna deployment is a piece of rebar and a section of 1/2&quot; PVC with the 1/4 wave on top. The feed line threads up the inside of the PVC pipe!</div><div><br></div><div>73</div><div>Dan KJ5IZK</div><div><br></div><div><img src="cid:ii_mgpusa360" alt="IMG_4203.JPEG" width="173" height="521"><br><br></div></div>
